OASIS was founded in 1997 by families who have adopted internationally as the primary family support group for families in the UK being built through Intercountry Adoption (ICA). OASIS has grown from a few dozen families to over 1000 members including pre-adopters, current adopters and those whose adoptions have been complete for some time.
